Welcome to Féchy. The Molliex family has been growing grapes here for four generations.
We invite you to discover and taste our different wines in an idyllic setting overlooking the lake of Geneva and the Alps.
We will be happy to welcome you here on our estate right in the heart of Féchy-Dessus, and until then we wish you a pleasant visit to our web site.
The estate was acquired by Hedwige Molliex in 1924. She was the grandmother and great grandmother, respectively, of Pierre-Louis and Thierry, the current vintner.
The estate comprises seven hectares (roughly 17 acres) of vineyards, a farmhouse and a winery, ideally situated in Féchy-Dessus.
The unobstructable view overlooking the lake and the Alps was, by the way, one of the reasons, why Hedwige Molliex chose this place to settle down.
Grapes have been grown in Féchy for almost a thousand years; the first ones were planted by the monks shortly after they finished the church of Féchy-Dessus.
Chasselas is the main variety; it is said to have its origins in this area.
Almost all our vinyards are on the hills above the Route de l’Etraz.
Their soil, their inclination and their exposure to the sun are favorable for the ripening of the grapes.
We do all the vineyard work by ourselves, and we concientiously follow the guidelines for Integrated Production.
We care about quality and do all foliage work and grape harvesting ourselves by hand.
A few years ago vintners of Féchy formed an alliance to create a charter for quality under the label
« Féchy – Vignoble classé ».
We take an active part in this effort, notably in producing our "Les Barettes" Grand Cru, Chasselas from a section of vineyard of the same name.
We are grape growers and wine makers, meaning we make and stock wine only from our own grapes.
The wine cellar is located in the basement of our house in Féchy-Dessus. The grapes are pressed on the premises. Thierry look after the vinification, following proven traditional methods.
The wine is bottled on the estate which permits optimal traceability.
*All of our wines are AOC La Côte.
Some of our wines are also available in "Pots Vaudois" and "Jeroboam" jars. As stock is limited, please contact us for further information.

Faulty bottles can be returned to Switzerland up to one year after purchase.

A very important local tradition dictates that if you visit a Vaudois cave during ‘the drinking hour’, you will be invited to share a glass of Chasselas with us in the wine tasting cellar.
We wouldn’t want to break this tradition! Please do come and visit our Domaine and beautiful surroundings.
Since Thierry took over the management of the Domaine, significant renovations have been undertaken.
We now have a modern, light function room available for hire (for up to 25 people) with access to a terrace with a panoramic lake and mountain view.
